Confessions and Forgiveness can bring great relief and great Restoration in your life.

Key Chapters. Matt 6:14, 15; Eph 4:32; Col 3:13; Ezekiel 18:21-23; Jer3:13-15.
This year’s theme has great things to do with Confessions and Forgiveness that can bring great Restoration and Prosperity in our lives and the church. Satan and his demons are the basis of hate. Unforgiving breeds bitterness in the lives of men. This word must take you to HIGHER LEVELS. Levels you haven’t been to, levels that will be the best part of your entire existence and even that of your family, friends, neighbors and just about everyone around you.
See this as your season. As you confess the WORD of GOD, that has power to cause deliverance and healing in your life. But first, you have to let go of something right now!!!  You have lived with it for too long, you need to confess and let it go for you to receive that higher level of living I spoke of before and enjoy the presence of God in your life. The bible is saying “if we confess our sins; He is Faithful and Just to forgive US” 1 John 1:9-10; Psalm 32:5. Confess what you did that needs forgiveness?
The story of Saul and Samuel. 1Samuel 15:1-34. Ends with Saul losing his rulership.   The story of a prodigal son.  Luke 15:10-32.  Ends with The son being restored as a son in his father’s house.
The Prodigal son was restored and Saul was not. What counts most are the results of your end time on this earth. The church will not grow and prosper when people of the same house, same family hate each other, discouraging, nurturing bitterness and are angry against each other. God loves a people who are united. Where we love and forgive one another, there He will command His blessings Psalm 133:1-3. We are one as a family Romans 12:4 5; I Corinthians 10:17. It is wicked not to forgive and love each other James 4:17. if you know you should be praying for others, loving your enemies, forgiving those who wrong us and forgetting wrongs against us, giving to God, working and serving in the church, caring for others, witnessing Christ to the sinners, reading and studying the word and you do not do it, you are totally wicked, a child of the devil in a sheep’s skin in the church. it also goes to show that you are affected AND infected by BITTERNESS therefore you are to confess and repent and be forgiven by our heavenly father whose son Jesus Christ died on the cross for you, or else, Proverbs 17:4 speaks of a wicked doer who will perish Proverbs 19:5,9.
Some say “I am not bitter no, I just want to be silent” let me show and prove to you that you are living in bitterness even though you are denying it. Did you know that Bitterness is often caused by people we know, whom we can’t escape or avoid, people we love and trust with our life’s secrets. At most those we hold closest to our hearts.
Ephesians 4:31-32. Get rid of it now!!
Signs of bitterness
1.       Cosmic involvement in any program is a source of bitterness
2.       Antisocial behavior.
3.       Being inconsiderate of other people’s feelings.
4.       Being selfish.
5.       Pride.
6.       Withdrawn behavior.
7.       unforgiving
8.       Unloving.
9.       Unteachable.
10.    Unreachable.
Bitterness and rage can cause loss of production and even turmoil in any business, institution, organization and country. A bitter person does not understand God’s plan and rejects what the word says and listen it’s not something to boast about.  James 3:14.
Bitterness destroys people’s lives and motivates gossip Psalm 64:3. Don’t be a habitual complainer, Job 7:11; 9:17-18.
Disobedience, the sense of slavery, suffering, self-induced misery, self-pitying, misunderstanding can cause bitterness. When things like these happen in your life read Deut 32and see what the Lord God desires of you.
A foolish son brings bitterness to the mother Proverbs 17:25.bitterness is a contributing factor to many marital and family problems and it’s very difficult to maintain any kind of relationships with bitter people. A side effect of bitterness is that it also triggers a wide range of other sins.
If you know you ought to be serving God and are not I urge you to confess and repent of your sins. Do not let bitterness make you sin even more. Bitterness cannot coexist with peace in the life of the believer who is filled with the Holy Spirit. The fruits of the Holy Spirit like longsuffering, Faith, goodness, gentleness, meekness and temperance give the ability to deal with bitterness
Make a list of your mental attitude. Your sins weather verbal and behavioral sins and ask the Lord to make you aware of these habits in your life clearly, and then sincerely enough and immediately ask for forgiveness. Rejoice in the forgiveness and the cleansing of the word and have a renewed fellowship with your heavenly father. And make it a spiritual habit to confess sins whenever they show up in your life. Constantly study and meditate the word of God (BIBLE) every day.  Living in the word gradually transplants you into a new environment.  You will live a Life which gives you great victory over bitterness.
